The Babraham Research Campus is a leading location which supports early-stage bioscience enterprise and is distinct in its co-location of bioscience companies with the world leading discovery research of the Babraham Institute. The Campus is a dynamic environment within 430 acres of parkland, home to over 60 companies, 2,000 employees and 300 academic researchers.
The grounds are the setting for a range of group activities such as Cricket, Rounders, Five-a-side Football and Volleyball which you can either take part in or spectate as you walk around the park at lunch times. There is also an onsite gym with a selection of equipment all accessible throughout the week. bit.bio also has access to showers within the office building, so if you like to get your exercise by cycling to work, you can do that too!
The Babraham Research Campus benefits from excellent access by road, rail and public transport. A public bus from Cambridge (the Linton & Haverhill 13/13A) departs from Drummer Street bus station in Cambridge every 30 minutes and takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the Babraham Research Campus.
With free parking on site, the Babraham Research Campus is easily accessible by car. Alternatively, you could make the most of the bus services which run regularly during the commuter hours.
