An in vitro toolkit to study the cell-specific roles of glutamatergic neurons and glia in Alzheimer’s disease
View posteropti-ox-mediated deterministic cell programming results in high lot-to lot consistency enabling the generation of reliable cell models that recapitulate aspects of neurogenerative diseases and the development of consistent and advanced co-culture systems. CRISPRko-Ready ioGlutamatergic Neurons and ioMicroglia constitutively express Cas9 nuclease for gene knockout and functional assays.
Our proof-of-concept CRISPR screens show the suitability of CRISPRko-Ready ioMicroglia and ioGlutamatergic Neurons to identify genes in pooled screens that critically modulate molecular pathways involved in microglia activation and change expression signatures.
GFP ioMicroglia enable easy tracking of cell motility and morphology, aid assessment of co-culture integration via live-cell imaging and enable antibody-free cell sorting.
