Defined, functional human iPSC-derived astrocytes to enhance in-vitro CNS models

ioAstrocytes are designed for ease of use, supported by open-source media and protocols for co-culturing with other CNS cell types, such as ioGlutamatergic Neurons. Powered by opti-ox deterministic cell programming, these highly characterised astrocytes display stellate morphology and key marker expression by day 8. They effectively recapitulate human astrocyte functions, including phagocytosis, cytokine secretion, and modulation of neuronal activity in CNS co-culture.
